Tony Papageorgiou from Aegean Pools has been an outstanding craftsman from start to finish.
When we first met Tony, we were amused by his intensity and thoroughness in explaining the process of creating our little dream pool. Throughout the process he made sure we understood every step. Our amusement soon changed to admiration as he navigated the many other tradesmen involved in our extensive house renovation.

From start to finish we were impressed by Tony’s meticulousness, attention to detail, and communication. After we moved back into our renovated home, we were able to witness Tony in action. He was always there when he said he would be or communicated if unable to for any reason. Tony did the majority of the work himself and supervised the work of his contractors.

The pool was the only part of our renovation that was completed within the agreed time frame and without additional expense.
Tony spent a couple of hours with me explaining the entire pool system and maintenance, and again was fastidious about ensuring I understood the whole system.

I’d like to thank Tony from Aegean Pools for the amazing job he and his team did in building our new pool.

My wife and I first started looking for a pool builder in 2019 with a set of architectural plans at hand and the experience we had from our first consultation with Tony to the end was extremely positive. The passion Tony has for his work was evident from our initial discussions and the level of detail he provided in his quote showed that he took great pride in his work. He had also built our friend’s pool over 10 years ago and they had very positive feedback for us which re-affirmed our decision to engage Tony to build our pool.

Embarking in something like this can be very daunting but we were put at ease by Tony’s wealth of knowledge and professionalism. Tony guided us through every stage of the build process always informing us of the progress made. He also gave us great advice on tile selections and where to source tiles from. He also worked extremely well and collaboratively with my builder to deliver an amazing pool for us.

I found Tony to be very easy to talk to and it felt like I was just having a conversation with a close friend. I still remember him saying that he treated the construction of our pool like it was his own. This provided us great comfort in seeing the pride Tony took in his workmanship to build our pool and the results are there to see. The final handover of the pool was also positive as Tony took the time to demonstrate the use of all the pool equipment and was happy to answer all my questions. He provided a handover pack on all the pool manuals.

Even though the pool was completed some time ago I still contact Tony for advice which he’s more than happy to accommodate.

"When my wife and I were discussing the idea of constructing a pool, a friend of ours suggested we make contact with Tony from Aegean Pools. "Tony Papageorgiou from Aegean Pools was engaged to construct a new fully tiled concrete pool.
Tony took great care with all the works. He had a Surveyor set out to ensure that the new pool would be square to the new house which had not yet been built.
During this build there were many challenges.
The board sewer ran down the eastern side of the property in close proximity to the pool.
The new pool was in the zone of influence of the board sewer. Planning and strict supervision was required to ensure the board sewer was not damaged.
The inclusion of a pool beach area after the pool was built, this was difficult and lengthy as the right curves had to be produced to ensure the automated pool cleaner would work correctly.
The brief included fully tiling the pool with glass mosaics and the coping with Honed and filled travertine.
Tony has a very professional approach to his work, follows the plans provided to him, ensures that the structure is built to Engineers specifications, consults with the client and builder during the course of the works. Tony pays attention to detail which ensures a great end result.
The end result is a pool that is absolutely flawless."

"Tony at Aegean Pools was introduced to us by some friends who had used Tony to install their pool. We had previously thought that a pool on our site was impossible due to difficulties with access and the location of Sydney Water sewer lines etc.
We started the process with Tony with an initial on-site meeting. "We engaged Tony from Aegean Pools to build our pool in Haberfield in 2013. Our builder recommended Tony and after meeting with four other pool contractors we were very happy to engage Aegean Pools. Tony was very thorough at the initial site visit and took the time to understand what we were looking for with our pool. He went step by step over all the options we had for every part of the process. This allowed us to tailor the build to our specifications and price range.
